Billie Runyon, 85, of Calhoun, died in Burgin Manor East, Olney, Nov. 30, at 7:15 p.m.

Visitation and services will be in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Brooks presiding. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, south of Noble.

He was born in Decker Township of Richland County to William and Sarah (Knight) Runyon.

He married Mary Effie Thomas June 5, 1923. She preceded him in death Nov. 16, 1971.

Mr. Runyon was a retired laborer and a member of the Calhoun Christian Church.

Survivors include six sons, Larry, Roscoe, and Richard Runyon, all of Olney; James, Chrisman, Donald, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Harry, West Salem; three daughters, Elsie Seaton, Catlin; Pauline Ryals, Calhoun; and Helen Harris, West Salem; 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a grandchild, a daughter, two sisters, and four brothers.
