Harry Runyon, 64, of West Salem, died at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Minister Kendall Bopp officiating. Burial will be held in Green Hill Cemetery in rural Noble.
Mr. Runyon was born May 26, 1935, in Richland County, the son of William and Effie (Thomas) Runyon. He married Katherine McDowell November 13, 1955. She survives.
He was a timber cutter for 35 years.
Mr. Runyon is survived by his wife, Katherine Runyon, of West Salem; two sons, Terry Runyon and his wife, Sharon, of Olney and Ronald Runyon, of West Salem; three daughters, Kathy Law and her husband, Ronnie, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Annette Thomas and her husband, Mark, of Olney and Tonya Barthelemy and her husband, Roy, of West Salem; five brothers, Roscoe Runyon and his wife, Juanita, of Olney, James Runyon and his wife, Mary Jane, of Olney, Donald Runyon and his wife, Toni, of Security, Colorado, Richard Runyon and his wife, Nellie, of Olney, Larry Runyon and his wife, Donna, of Olney; three sisters, Elsie Seaton, of Catland, Pauline Ryals, of Calhoun, and Helen Harris and her husband, Bob, of West Salem; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Oma Seaton, and one granddaughter, Kathryn Barthelemy. Memorials may be made to Harry Runyon Memorial Fund.
