Obit: Anna Beck Anderson, 55, was born in Duluth Minn. She was married to Pete Anderson 8-20-1908 in Paxton, Illinois. To this union three children were born. A son, Almard preceded her in death 23 years ago. The family came to this vicinity 16 years ago. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Anderson died Thursday, Jan 2, in Osteopathic Hospital, Saginaw, following an operation; funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home in Wheeler and at the Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock. Rev. Richert officiated with burial in Ridgelawn. She leaves to mourn their loss: her husband, a son, George; a daughter, Elrosa Saunders; an adopted niece, Delora Tjarks; 4 brothers and a sister. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Bob Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cornwell of Peoria, Illinois; Chris Anderson of Gibson City, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beck, Lexington, Illinois; Mrs. Fred Stroh, Saybrook, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. John Beck..............
