Funeral Services took place on Friday, September 24, 2010 at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel will Pastor Justin "Jut" Daron officiating.
Elrosa was born in Melrose, MN. the daughter of Peter and Anna (Beck) Anderson during a snowstorm while her Dad was snowbound in Elrose, MN. She was married to George Heinrich in December 1985. She held many jobs during her long life, but her favorite was her 17 years of volunteering at Gratiot Medical Center. There, she finally had the job she always wanted of telling people where to go. She was a member of St. Louis Church of Christ. Elrosa loved crafting and many hobbies, and many family members have enjoyed her talents. She loved cooking and baking for all of her family and friends. She was very well liked and will always be remembered for her sense of humor.
She is survived by her son Larry Saunders and special friend Barbara Reynolds of Holt, MI, 2 daughters; Fran Roth of Milford, MI, Kay Peasley of Vestaburg, MI, her granddaughter that she helped raise Roxann Davis of St. Louis, MI, 15 other grandchildren, numerous great grand children and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends Reva Rummer, and Alice Compeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Heinrich, son Donald Saunders, daughter Nona Tryon, sons in law; Larry Roth and Wesley Tryon, daughter in law Bonnie Saunders; 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Montcalm County Baby Pantry.
