The funeral of Admiral Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Anderson, who died at Havre, Mont., on Sunday of last week, was held at the Presbyterian church in this city last Saturday afternoon. Burial was in Gibson cemetery. Admiral Andrew Jacob Anderson was born in this city Oct. 9, 1909, and died at Havre, Mont., March 4, 1917, aged 7 years, 4 months and 23 days. He moved with his parents to Melrose, Minn., where they lived four years, moving to Havre, Mont., last November. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents; one brother, George, aged 4; one sister, Elrosa, aged 11 months; his grandparents, uncles and aunts and a number of cousins. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Anderson and a nephew of Mrs. O. F. Cornwell of this city. (Gibson City Courier, Gibson City, IL, 15 March 1917)
