GILHAM. At Scio, Linu county, Oregon, on Saturday morning, June 9, 1888, Frederick Ralston, son of Fred Gilham, of Salem, aged 1 month and 28 days. Just two weeks before the death of the little one, its mother died at the same place, and her demise was chronicled in the Statesman at that time. Mr. Gil-ham is the brick mason, and bis friends sympathize with him.

GILHAM. At her mother's residence, near Scio, Or., on Saturday morning. May 26th, 1888, Alice I. Gilham (nee Tindall), wife of Frederick Gilham, aged 18 years. Deceased was married to Mr. Gilham, who is a bricklayer of this city, about eighteen months ago. She died of consumption, and leaves a child, a bov about six weeks old. The funeral will be held at Scio today (Sunday).
