Rose was born on May 15, 1890, the second daughter of Joseph and Emilie (Prunier) Boucher. She married Napoleon Quiry who was born in 1883 in New York State and died in 1954. After his death, Rose worked for a time as a stitcher at the former Grosvenor Shoe Co, retiring in 1962.

At the time of her death in Fairlawn Hospital she left four sons, Wilfred C, Armand, and Napoleon Quiry all of Worcester, and Joseph Quiry of Mebourne, FL; four daughters, Yvonne, wife of Edmond Coonan, Rose, the wife of Edward Pichie, Miss Marianne R Quiry, with whom she lived, all of Worcester, and Christine, wife of Raymond LaPlante of Auburn: two brothers, Louis and William, 22 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
