William A Boucher, 84, of 938 Grafton St. was stricken on Sunday while attending Mass in St. Joseph's Church and pronounced dead on arrival at St. Vincent Hospital. Before he retired, Mr. Boucher was a bricklayer and plasterer for J.S. Prunier & Sons, Inc, for fifty years. He was known as a quiet man of great strength.

He was the husband of Mrs. Mary (Leslie) Boucher. Besides his wife, he left three sons, Antoine W and Armand J Boucher of Oxford and Francis X Boucher of Millbury; two daughters, Bernadette J, wife of Lorenzo Bilodeau of Oxford, and Therese, wife of Robert J Black of Worcester; a brother Louis J Boucher of Buzzards Bay; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He and his wife also helped raised three of their grandchildren. William was born in Worcester, a son of Joseph and Emilie (Prunier) Boucher and lived here his whole life.
