This is Helen (Lena) Quante who married August Roehl. Helen was born March 9, 1874 of August Quante and Bertha Zorn in the Town of Schleswig.
She married August F. Roehl on Sept. 10, 1908 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, Town of Schleswig. She died in 1963 and is buried at Union Cemetery, near Louis Corners. August and Helen had only one child, Elsie Roehl, who never married. Elsie is buried at Union also.
August F. Roehl was born in the Town of Meeme on Dec. 4, 1871 of William Roehl. About 1880, the family moved to Peshtigo. August returned to the Town of Schleswig in 1904 and married Helen Quante in 1908. August died in 1951 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Town of Schleswig.

Mrs. August Roehl Dies Saturday
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. August Roehl, 89, of Route 1, Kiel, Town of Schleswig, who died Saturday at St. Nicholas hospital in Sheboygan. The services were held at the Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Adalbert Schultz officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery in Town of Schleswig.
The former Helena Quante, she was born at Route 1, Kiel March 9, 1874, the daughter of the late August Quante and Bertha Zorn. She attended district schools in the Town of Schleswig and on September 10, 1906, was married to August Roehl of Peshtigo at the Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners.
The couple settled on the homestead farm at Route 1, Kiel, after their marriage. Mr. Roehl died in 1950.
Mrs. Roehl was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church at Louis Corners and a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Surviving is one daughter, Miss Elsie, at home.
