Alma Bausch, 94, long time resident of Bandera, passed away on March 28, 2009. She was born to Henry and Adele (Hohenburger) Bausch, on May 26, 1914 in Bandera, Texas. She retired from Hermann Son's Nursing Facility after 65 years of dedicated service. Alma was a member of Methodist Church in Bandera.
She was preceded in death by parents and sister, Elene Bausch; brothers, Hugo Bausch, Alvin "Buster" Bausch, Arthur Bausch, and Lee Henry Bausch.
Survivors include, sisters, Norma Hamilton of Bandera, Ida Mae Kutzer of Yoakum, TX, Alice Buck of Bandera, and Irene Stieler of Kerrville; brother, Harold William Bausch and wife Anna Faye of Bandera; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held March 30, 2009, 3 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera, officiated by Mr. Martin Smith, interment to follow in the Bandera Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Alfred Bausch, Jim Smith, Allen Stieler, George Hamilton, John Hamilton, Jim Kutzer, and Joe Kutzer.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bandera Cemetery Assn. at P. O. Box 424, Bandera, TX 78003.
