Alvin Clarence (Buster) Bausch, 80, of Bandera, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, in a local care center. He was born May 26, 1922, in Bandera County to Henry A. and Adelia Hohenberger Bausch. On Nov. 29, 1953, he married Georgia Walker in Kerrville. Mr. Bausch served in the Navy during World War II and was a life long rancher and fence builder in Bandera County. In addition to his wife Georgia of Bandera, survivors include five sisters, Norma Hamilton of Bandera, Alma Bausch of Bandera, Ida Mae Kutzer and husband Rex of Yoakum, Alice Buck and husband Claude of Hugo, Okla., and Irene Steiler of Kerrville; one brother, Harold Bausch and wife Anna Faye of Bandera; sisters-in-law, Mildred Bausch of Bandera, Jessie Sides and husband Brady of Medina, Jean Walker of Campwood and Ruth Goetzel of San Antonio; step-daughter, Retha Anderwald of Bandera; step-son, Johnny Anderwald and wife Susan of Roswell, N.M.; four step-grandchildren, Danny Bowermaster of Bandera, Cody Lee Anderwald, Luke Henry Anderwald and Sarah Anderwald, all of N.M.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
