She was born December 14, 1915 in New Holstein a daughter of the late Henry and Monica (Gau) Morgan.
On June 1, 1937 she married Herbert Steiner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein; he preceded her in death on February 13, 2004.
Survivors include her 3 children, Janice Lee (Anton "Tony") Hoekstra of New Holstein, James (Judith) Steiner of Muskego, WI, and Juanita (Peter) Pawlisch of Punta Gorda, FL; 7 grandchildren, Jonathan (Kathy) Hoekstra, Julianne (Dean) Zwart, Robert (Erin) Hoekstra, Matthew (Leigh) Hoekstra, Jennifer (Don) Belich, Michael (Cathy) Steiner, Melissa Pawlisch and her husband Wil Bailey; 10 great-grandchildren, Kellie Hoekstra, Spenser, Gabrielle and Morgan Zwart, Lily Hoekstra, Alexis Hoekstra, Lucas and Abby Belich, Breanna Steiner and Graham Bailey; her sister, Bernice Paulson of Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Steiner of FL; her brother-in-law, Eugene (Rosie) Steiner of New Holstein; and a special cousin, Ambrose Morgan of FL.
