She was born May 30, 1890, in St. Cloud, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gau. She attended parochial school there and on July 30, 1912 married Henry N. Morgan at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.
She had been a resident of the New Holstein community for 18 years.
She as a member of Holy Rosary Parish, the parish’s Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Edward, Route 1, New Holstein and Alvin, Route 1, Sheboygan; four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Leona) Holzmann of Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Herbert (Marion) Steiner of New Holstein, Mrs. Eugene (Verena) Fuhrmann, Route 1, New Holstein and Mrs. Francis (Bernice) Juckem, Rio, Wis.; 25 grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Gau of Wausau and Val of Fond du Lac and two sisters, Mrs. Alois Kempinger of Oshkosh and Mrs. Math Schmitz of Fond du Lac.
Funeral services were held Monday at Holy Rosary Church, the Rev. Fridolin Obchowski, curate, was celebrant of the Requiem Mass and burial was in the church cemetery.
