A retired farmer, Mr. Morgan was born at Johnsburg Nov. 11, 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Morgan and was married at New Holstein July 30, 1912, to Monica Gau.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Mrs. Morgan died several years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Edward, R. 1, New Holstein and Alvin, R. 1, Sheboygan; four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Leona) Holzman, R. 1, Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Herbert (Marian) Steiner, New Holstein, Mrs. Eugene (Verena) Fuhrmann, St. Anna and Mrs. Francis (Bernice) Juckem, Rio, Wis.; four brothers, Louis, Fond du Lac, John, Johnsburg; Peter, New Holstein; and Anton, St. Anna; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Reiden, St. Peter, and Mrs. John Pitzen, Fond du Lac and 25 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Holy Rosary Church with a solemn requiem high Mass. The Rev. Lambert Scanlan, pastor was the celebrant, the Rev. Walter Morgan, Campbellsport, a nephew, the deacon, and the Rev. John Pavelski, assistant pastor of Holy Rosary, the sub-deacon. Burial was in the church cemetery.
