Mrs. Pearl Florence IRVINE, 59, Fairview Heights, Lake Manitou, R.R. 2, died at 4 a.m. today at Woodlawn hospital, where she had been a patient since Monday. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Irvine had been a resident of Rochester since 1917, coming here from Peru.
She was born at Denver, Ind., June 1, 1896, to Andrew J. and Alvirda (WHITEMAN) BIGGS. She was married to Ernest IRVINE at Peru, April 12, 1917. Mrs. Irvine was a member of the Evergreen Rebekah lodge No. 57 of Rochester.
Survivors are the husband, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) JEFFERIES, Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) WENTZEL, and Mrs. Benile (Mary) BERRY, all of Rochester; three grandchildren, Edwin and Ernest JEFFERIES, and William WENTZEL, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. The Rev. Donald DECKER of the Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
