Mary L. Berry, June 2, 1926 - Dec. 26, 2000, Former Lake Manitou resident Mary Louise BERRY, 74, Valley View Health Care Center, Elkhart, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home. Born in Fulton County to Ernest and Pearl BIGGS IRVINE, she married Benile N. BERRY Sept. 7, 1947 in Rochester. He died June 29, 1992. Mrs. Berry was a retired secretary at the former Production & Credit Association, Rochester. She was a member of Women of the Moose Lake Manitou Post 1107 and was associated with Rebekah's Lodge and Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge. Survivors include three nephews, Bill WENTZEL, Elkhart; Ed JEFFERIES, Rochester; Ernest JEFFERIES, Santa Cruz, Calif.; two brothers-in-law. Lloyd JEFFERIES, Rochester; Clarence WENTZEL, Elkhart. Preceding in death with her husband were two sisters, Florence JEFFERIES and Mildred WENTZEL. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Rob CRYTZER officiating. Burial is at Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
