Florence L. Jefferies, April 17, 1918-Jan. 27, 1997, Florence L. JEFFERIES, 78, Rochester, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday at Life Care Center, Rochester. Born in Rochester to Ernest and Pearl BIGGS IRVINE. she married Lloyd E. JEFFERIES on Nov. 15, 1942 in Rochester. He survives. A lifetime resident of Rochester, she was a licensed realtor with the former Jefferies Real Estate Agency, and a member of the Rochester Women's Club, the First Presbyterian Church, a Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. State President and Noble Grand of the Evergreen Rebekah Wdge, past president of the Fulton County Women's Democrat Club, and past president of the Fulton County Board of Realtors. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons Ed JEFFERIES, Rochester, Ernest JEFFERIES, Santa Cruz, Calif.; four grandchildren Manitou [JEFFERIES], Johanna [JEFFERIES], Gael [JEFFERIES] and Leilani JEFFERIES, all of Santa Cruz; one sister Mrs. Mary BERRY, Rochester, one daughter-in-law Rosanne JEFFERIES, Santa Cruz, Calif; and one nephew William WENTZEL, Elkhart. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Mildred WENTZEL. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert CRYTZER officiating. Burial will be In the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester, and for one hour prior to services at the church. Rebekah services followed by Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
