The former Woodie Christine Johnson, she was born February 3, 1886, in Union county. She married Eric Nylund, May 18, 1911. They farmed in the Garland vicinity until Mr. Nylund died in 1932. She lived on the farm until 1946, then moved to California and lived with a brother, returning to Alcester four years ago.
Survivors are three sons, Dwight and Roger Nylund, both of Akron, and Wallace Nylund, of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers Stanley and Lloyd Johnson, both of Alcester; two sisters, Mrs. Adelia Chalgren of San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. John Anthony of San Jacinto, Calif., and five grandchildren.
