JOHN OLVIE MOORE was the son of John George Moore and Mrs. Eliza Jane (Barnett) Moore.

"Services Set Today for J.O. Moore, 64 ---
Funeral services for J.O. Moore, 64, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Amos Ledbetter will officiate. Mr. Moore died suddenly at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, October 11 at his home, at of 1602 West First Street, Tyler. Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa Moore, of Tyler; his son, M/Sgt. Raymond Moore, stationed in Japan with the U.S. Army; two daughters, Mrs. Buford B. Bankston, of Tyler, and Mrs. M.K. Turney, of Houston; two sisters, Miss Addie Belle Moore and Miss Leota Moore, both of Tyler; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers are J.O. Burnett, P.L. Gamblin, Sam R. Hill, Jr., Leon Everett, Milton Smith and R.H. Shelton."
