CLARA Gutman-BROECKERT

Mrs. Edward Broeckert, 79, of St. Nazianz, died Thursday at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.

Funeral services will be at 9:45 st Christianson Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, the Rev. Gregory Putzer, S.D.S., officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Broeckert was born Clara Gutman July 23, 1886, at St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gutman. She was married June 4, 1912, to Mr. Broeckert at St. Nazianz. She was a lifelong resident of St. Nazianz and a member of the St. Gregory Christian Mothers Society.

Her husband died Nov. 8, 1957.

Surviving are five sons, Rembert, Arthur, Edward Jr., and Roman, of St. Nazianz and Bernard, of Manitowoc; a brother, William Gutman and sister, Mrs. William Dietrich, of St. Nazianz.

A daughter, Sister Mary Roman, O.S.F., and son preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
