Death claimed Henry Schreiber, who had been ailing with heart and liver trouble for a number of years; he passed away to his home here on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 1 a.m.

Decedent was born in the town of Meeme, August 9, 1857, reaching the age of 62 years and 6 months. On June 9th, 1890 he was united in marriage to Minnie Reibestein; this union was blessed with six children, of whom one died in infancy.

Mr. Schreiber was respected by all who knew him, his upright, quiet and unassuming manner winning him many friends, who sadly deplore his death.

He is survived by his sorrowing wife, three sons, Edwin, Paul and Roland, and two daughters, Eugenia and Anna, two sister-in-laws, one grandchild, five brothers and five sisters.

The funeral services were held Friday afternoon at St. John’s church in Schwarzwald, with interment in the church cemetery.
