She was born in Saxony, Germany, in 1866, and came to this country in 1888, settling in Manitowoc County. On June 9, 1890, she was united in marriage to Mr. Schreiber, and the couple came to the town of Meeme, where she has since lived.
Her husband preceded her in death in Feb. 1920. Since that time she had made her home with her daughter.
The following children survive her; Mrs. Hy. Hoppe, and Anna Schreiber at home, Edwin and Roland in Meeme and Paul in Schleswig. One brother and two sisters resided in Germany.
The funeral was held on Wednesday, May 14, Rev. Mohme officiating. Burial was made in the Schwarzwald cemetery.
