Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Gartman, who passed away Mon. at St. Nicholas hospital will be held Thurs. at 8:30 a.m. at Robert H. Kroos Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at Holy Name Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Philipp Dreis will have charge of the services and burial will be made in Calvary cemetery.
Deceased was born Sept. 25, 1868, in Sheboygan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Braun. She was married June 26, 1888 (sic, 1889) to Charles A. Gartman, Town of Wilson. Her husband preceded her in death in 1919. She was a faithful member of St. Ann's Altar and Mother society and Missionary society of the Holy Name congregation.
Survivors are two sons, Charles, of Ringle WI, and Frank of Waukesha; six daughters, Mrs. Jacob [Helen] Vande Loo, Mrs. Clemens [Laura] Acker, Mrs. Frank [Marie] Kotnik of Sheboygan; Sister Mary Fidelia of Superior WI, and Rose and Eleanor at home; two brothers Albert and Anton Braun of Sheboygan; one sister, Mrs. Jacob Etzcorn of town of Wilson and 14 grandchildren. One brother preceded her in death.
