Funeral services were held for Reason Taylor Ward of Catching Creek last Friday afternoon at the Schroeder Parlors. Rev. E.V. Ostrander officiating, burial at Myrtle Point Cemetery.
Mr. Ward was one of fifteen children, seven sisters and five brothers surviving. He was born in Coos County and was 55 years old. (He died from TB)

Reese Ward had a bright red beard. Grandpa was Scotch Irish and Dad always said he had a sandy complexion. Grandma was Pennsylvania Dutch.
