Services were held for Effie Young, 88, Retirement Ranch, on Feb. 14 at the Farwell Church of Christ. Dennis Dillon officiated.
Burial followed at Texico Cemetery. Steed-Todd Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
She died Feb. 12. She was born July 22, 1905 in Weatherford. She was a resident of the Texico area since the 1930's. She and her husband operated Jim's Phillips 66 Station in Texico.
Surviving is a sister, Dollie Young, Long Beach, Calif.
Casketbearers included her nephews.
