My great-aunt Ada May Eagens was born in 1885 in Norristown, Pennsylvania to parents Samuel B. Eagens (1850-?) and Roseann Smith(1856-1942). She was one of four children: Albert, Harry R. and Mayme. All born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Ada's father died while she was still young, Her family moved in with an uncle on his farm in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Ada married Robert W. Halladay 10 July 1917 in Sydney, Ohio, they divorced. She remarried Ernest Bradenburg 27 Feb 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio and divorced. Ada had one daughter with Louis Brody: Violet, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on Sept. 15, 1911 and died in 2005. Violet would be raised by Ada's sister Mary Ann (Mayme).

Ada eventually moved to Cleveland, Ohio with her daughter, sister and mother, her brother Harry was already in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ada died on May 10, 1951 and was buried on the 14th, she is laid to rest along side her sister Mayme (1897-1953) in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Road, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio 44109
