Death: Jan. 6, 1907
Mrs. Eli Bickford departed this life January 6, 1901 at her home in Mt. Etna, Adams County, Iowa, of pneumonia.
Abigail Perry was born November 6, 1837, near Marietta, Ohio. When six years of age, she with her parents removed to Weathersfield, Illinois. April 5, 1865, she was united in marriage to Eli Bickford. To this union four sons and one daughter having died in infancy. In 1868, she with her family came to this county. In early life she was converted and united with the M.E. Church of which she was a member till death transported her from cares of life to eternal rest and happiness. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn their loss, being George, Samuel, and Charles Bickford (fag #17450521), and Mesdames Carrie Jones, Myrtle Pedigo, and Bessie Dir. Also six sisters and one brother.
