Viggo Peter Jensen, 65, passed away last Sunday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Houston where he had been admitted only a few days earlier.
Funeral services for Mr. Jensen under direction of Wheeler Funeral Home were conducted Monday afternoon at the Danevang Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lloyd Nison officiating.
Interment was in Danevang Lutheran Cemetery.
A native of Iowa, Mr Jensen had been a resident of this area for more than 60 years.
Mr. Jensen was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Juhl and brothers, Theo, H. F. and J. S. Jensen.
The following members of the American Legion were pallbearers, J. L. Christenberry E. J. Fleer, E. J. Soderman, H. A. Hansen and Julius Peterson.
