Mrs. Ada Culbertson Dies Nears Hale
Funeral Services Will Be Held Sunday
Mrs. Ada Jane Culbertson, 84, died about 1 o'clock this morning at her farm home west of Hale. She had been ill three weeks. She was born in Henry County, Iowa, daughter of James Lee and Nitha Ann (Caulk) Plankett. March 26, 1890 she was married to R. G. Culbertson.
Of ten children born to the union, she is survived by eight: Snowden Culbertson of the home; Olen Culbertson of Independence, Oregon; Mrs. Pearl Senn, Dixon, Illinois; Mrs. Mary Nask, Kansas City; Miss Emma Culbertson of the home; Mrs. Maude Barron of Kansas City; Mrs. Hattie Newton of Tina; and Robert Culbertson, Hale. A son, Ed Culbertson died in 1916 and a daughter, Anna, died at the age of 1 year.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Christian church at Hale. Burial will be in the Hale cemetery under the direction of the Austin Funeral Home.
