Snowden Culbertson, 75, who resided in the Hale community all his life, died this morning at his home west of Hale. He had been ill for several years. Born January 26, 1891, in Carroll county, the son of Robert G. Culbertson and Ada Jane (Plunkett) Culbertson, he was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Culbertson, Hale, and five sisters, Mrs. Pearl Senn and Miss Emma Culbertson, Hale; Mrs. Mary Nash and Mrs. Maude Barron, Kansas City, and Mrs. Hattie Newton, Bogard.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Sunday afternoon at the chapel of the Austin Funeral Home in Hale. Burial will be in the Hale cemetery.
