My paternal grandmother Lou Julian Frazier was very interested in politics and international affairs and made her views known to all. She raised four sons and one daughter. She was one of thirteen children. A hard working Methodist family. I have letters that she wrote to my grandfather when they were courting. They were very close and she was heartbroken when he died in 1921. She wrote a memorial to him. She was a widow for 18 years. They lived on a farm not far from the town of Cleveland.
