Funeral services for Margaret Stanley, 65, of Conroe will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Minister Billy Hensarling officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 28, 2006 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stanley was born on November 25, 1941 in Owensboro, Kentucky and passed away on December 25, 2006 at home in Conroe, Texas. She graduated high school "Catholic High" in Owensboro, Kentucky. For many years, she was an office administrator at Doctor's Hospital in Conroe and her last job was at Memorial Hermann Hospital – The Woodlands.
Margaret's parents, Edwin and Louva Medley, and her brother, Jimmy, all preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Phillip L. Stanley of Conroe; sons, James Colby and wife Cynthia of Houston, Tony Colby and partner Michael Magnuson of Spring, Stephen D. Colby of Conroe, and Joe Stanley and Ann Holt of Conroe; daughter, Angel Ikner and husband Dewayne of LaFayette, Louisiana; brothers, Eddie Medley and George Medley; sister, Cora Ellen McKinley; grandchildren, Rob Vickers, Dakota Colby, Bailey Colby, Jimmy Williams, Timothy Colby, Michael Ikner, and Matthew Ikner. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Her children and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
