Kiel – Mrs. Christian Fischer, age 84, passed away at her home, 721 Chicago Street, Sunday following a long illness. Nee Minnie Ninmer, she was born Nov. 22, 1856, in the town of Schleswig. She was married to Christian (sic) Iverson of New Holstein in 1877, and the couple lived in New Holstein until 1909 when Mr. Iverson died.
She was married to Christian Fischer of the town of Schleswig on May 16, 1919, and the couple located in Kiel. Survivors are her husband and four daughters of her first marriage.
Mrs. J. H. (Lulu) Horn, of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. John (Christina) Miller, of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Adele Boswell of Ft. Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Marie Jackson of this city. Fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive her, with two sisters, Mrs. Anna Sternbeck and Mrs. August Luedke of Kiel. Four children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Meiselwitz Funeral home and at St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church. Interment will be in the New Holstein city cemetery. Interment will be in the New Holstein city cemetery. The Rev. E. L. Worthmann will officiate.
