William Perry Died Monday at V.A. Center
William L. Perry, 59, RR 2, died Monday at 8:30 p.m. at the V.A. Center. He had been seriously ill since last February and had been in failing health for the past two years.
He was born Aug. 4, 1895 in Wyandotte County, a son of Wiley and Mary Perry. In 1937 in Leavenworth he was married to Miss Mary Emge. In 1953 he retire from the Veterans Administration where he had been employed for eight years because of poor health. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his widow; Mrs. Mary M. Perry of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Russell, 207 Santa Fe, Joann and Edna Perry, both of the home; fours sons, Robert, Joseph, David and Donald Perry, all of the home; three sisters, Mrs. William Florence, RR 2, Mrs. Frank Bullard, 427 S. 10th, and Mrs. Claire Waddell of Berkeley, Calif.; two brothers, Emmett and Frank Perry, both of Redwood City, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in Mt. Muncie cemetery. The body will be at Sumpters after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
