Tandy G. Moore, 84, Dies at Home Near Bethel. Moore, a prominent Bethel man, died about noon Monday, following a short illness of a complication of diseases. He was 84 years old. Mr. Moore was born on the old Moore home place about six miles northeast of Bethel, and lived all of his life on that place. He was a prominent farmer and stock raiser. In 1878, he married Miss Virginia (Jennie) Rutter, who survives. Mr. Moore was a member of the Shiloh Baptist church north of Bethel. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him, and he had many friends in all part of the county.

Also surviving are seven children: Mrs. Laura Varner of Burlington, Colo., Mrs. Roma Farmer of Vermillion, S. D., Lloyd Moore of Siebert, Colo., Mrs. Mary Pickett of Shelbina, Earl Moore and J. E. Moore of near Bethel, and W. C. Moore, living at home. One daughter, Mrs. Nellie Pickett, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held 11 Apr 1934 at the Shiloh church, and burial was in the church cemetery.
