Funeral rites for John Wayne CHEEK, 63, a retired Perryton cook, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, in the Full Gospel Church.
Mr. CHEEK, who was born February 21, 1902, in Hill county, Texas, died at 5:55 a.m. Friday at Perryton Hospital. He had lived here since 1939.
Officiating at his Services was the Full Gospel pastor, Rev. O. A. Busch. Boxwell Brothers directed interment in Ochiltree Cemetery.
Surviving Mr. CHEEK are his wife, Lela, 321 South Colgate, Perryton; a son, Bobby Wayne CREEK of Healdton, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Anna) DAVIDSON of San Francisco, and Mrs. Edwin (Patsy Ruth) WATERBURY of Rockdale; three brothers, Ray and Gary CHEEK of Hico, and S. J. CHEEK of Dallas, and seven grandchildren.
