Married Edwin Sparks on 31 March 1851 in Dubuque, Iowa.

On 18 December 1916, Priscilla signed a federal government form requesting an increase in her widow's pension. In it she said, "I am 84 years of age, having been born December 7, 1832, at near Sandusky, in the State of Ohio."

Died at home, 602 West 10th St., Vancouver, Clark County, Washington. Cause was heart failure following the flu. She was age 86 years, 1 month, 8 days. Born 7 December 1832. Attending physician was her daughter Dr. Mabel Bacon of Vancouver.

Interment: 19 January 1919
