Brief Sickness Ends in Death. Mrs. Eva Freund Expires at Home of Son, Louis, in St. Peter. Mrs. Eva Freund, age 56, a resident of St. Peters all of her life, died at 11 p.m. Monday at the home of her son, Louis, following a short illness. Mrs. Freund, formerly Eva Abler, was born at St. Peter and always made her home at that place. Mr. Freund died in 1904.
Surviving relatives are two sons and two daughters, Louis and Henry Freund of St. Peter, Mrs. Matt Schneider of Silica and Sr. M. Satonia of Hayes KS; one sister Mrs. John Koenigs of Mt. Calvary and seven brothers, Joseph, Jacob, Matthew, Stephen and John Abler of Mt. Calvary, Michael of St. Cloud and Peter Abler of St. Peter. Mrs. Freund was a member of the Catholic Mothers' society and the Third Order. The funeral will be held from the residence of her son at 9:30 a.m. Thursday and at 10 from St. Peter's church, the Rev. Fr. Otto O.M. Cap. officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
