James Howard "Jimmy" Milner was the son and third child of George Leroy Milner and Eulanda Ann Miller. His siblings were: Leroy, Rose Marie and Richard. He was named after Uncle James Byron Milner and grandaddy Judson Howard Miller.

His grandparents were Judson Howard and Addie (Davis) Miller of Barstow TX; Ocie Kyle and Annie (Boyd) Milner of Winnsboro TX.

He was best friend to John Charles Fonville. Electronics was his hobby! He helped Sam Fonville at the TV shop. He also worked for L.H. Nutt at the Culligan Water Works.

He was a freshman at Pecos High School when he died of nephritis, age 15 yrs 11 months 6 days, on July 27, 1955, just before his 16th birthday on August 21.

He is buried beside his mother, Eulanda Miller Milner, and nephew, Rory James Milner, son of Leroy and Joyce (Majors) Milner.
