Married 20 Feb 1903 in the Logan Temple to William Thomas Brown, son of James Henry Brown and Ann Bullock, who was born 11 Jan 1865 at Providence, Cache, Utah; died 9 May 1943 and buried May 1943 at Logan, Cache, Utah.

Sarah Susannah attended school at Mt. Sterling, later went to Logan as a house keeper for an aunt, Mary Hendrickson, for two dollars and fifty cents per week. After completing a year of schooling at Brigham Young College in Logan, she was offered a summer teaching position at Eight Mile (near Soda Springs), Idaho; later at Mt. Sterling, Utah. She made candy bars called "Suzann's" which she sold on the market. Besides being an accomplished seamstress, she was a good singer, loved literature and gave many readings. Sarah Susannah held many prominent church positions on the Ward and Stake level and loved to do temple and genealogy work. She was active in the PUP Organization. She and her husband were talented musicians. He played the piano and Organ. Both of them sang together on many occasions. She helped those in need and nursed many of the sick back to health.

William Thomas was reared and educated at Providence and Logan, Utah. At the age of fourteen, he and his mother ran a hotel in Logan. Thomas drove the buggy to pick up the guests. He helped to get logs from Logan Canyon and float them down Logan River. "Brown's Roll Off" in Logan Canyon is named after his father. William Thomas learned to be a monument sculptor and headstone cutter, a trade he worked at most of his life. Many beautiful monuments and headstones in Cache Valley and Idaho are his work. He and his Sons, Donald and Marks quarried a monument on Logan Temple grounds.

Ruby Redford Brown, LeGrand Redford Brown, Ora Redford Brown, Donald Redford Brown, Mark Redford Brown, Robert Dean Redford Brown.
