C. E. Ashberry, Sr.
BLAKES- Clifford Eric Ashberry, Sr., 79, a farmer, died Friday at his home here after a long illness.
Mr. Ashberry was a member of Macedonia Chuurch, Chapel Lodge 235, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and Omaha Tribe 92, Improved Order of Red Men.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha M. Ashberry of Blakes; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Horsley of Blakes; two sons, Forrest H. Ashberry of Norfolk and Clifford E. Ashberry Jr. of Foster; a sister, Mrs. Susie Sadler of Foster; a brother, Granville Ashberry Jr. of Foster; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home at Blakes, conducted by the Rev. Chester L. Phelps, pastor of the Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins.
Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery at Dutton.
