Quill Bohannon Dies at 67
Quill Bohannon, 67, a former resident of White County, died on Monday morning, June 10, in the Riverside Hospital in Warren County, following a short illness.
He was a manager of a department store in McMinnville, the son of the late James Bohannon and Mrs. Beulah Dunn Bohannon, who survives.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home, conducted by Revs. Fred Sharp and Buford Kelly. Burial was in the Eastland Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Vernon Bohannon of Sparta; three daughters, Leona Bohannon and Mrs. Helen Flatt of Sparta and Mrs. Edna Clemmons of Amherst, Ohio. He was married to the former Gussie Lockwood Bohannon; other survivors include six brothers, Lewis Bohannon and William Bohannon of Sparta: Archie
Bohannon of Pleasant Hill; James Bohannon, Orlando, Fla., three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Cooke of Titusville, Fla., Mrs. Beulah McMahan of Nashville and Mrs. Rebecca Groves of Crossville; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
