MRS. AGNES M. WERNER
Mrs. Agnes M. Werner, 88, Kouts, died at 3 a.m. this morning at her home in Kouts after a
months illness.
She was born in Medaryville, Ind., on Feb. 3, 1872, and had lived in Kouts for eight years,
going there from Valparaiso. She was married to Herman G. Werner at LaPorte on Oct. 19,
1892. He preceded her in death in 1940.
Survivors include one son, Emil, Kouts; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Leets, LaPorte; Mrs.
Harvey Keeler, South Bend, and Mrs. S. M. Broadus, Monroe, Mich.; one brother, Fred
Kosanke, Hebron; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Kosanke Bros. Funeral Home, Kouts with the Rev. Edwin F. Mayer officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery here. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
