W. L. Kinney, a well known farmer of near Holbrook, died in the St. Frances hospital, Pittsburgh, Sunday evening, August 12, aged 41 years, of pneumonia. He had been in failing health for nearly a year. He spent practically all his life on the farm where he was born in Center township. Mr. Kinney was a son of William and Rebecca Davis Kinney, deceased. He was a member of the Valley Chapel M. E. church, and took an active interest in the affairs of the church. Beside his wife, Mrs. Anna Chess Kinney, he leaves three children, William L., Jr., Florence and Kenneth Kinney, at home; also a brother, Robert S. (Gay) Kinney, of Woodruff, and a sister, Mrs. George (Belle) Hughes, of Rutan.
