The steamer Vicksburg, which sailed from Quebec for Liverpool May 27, with nearly 90 persons on board, was wrecked in a field of ice when 5 days out, and over 80 of those on board, including the captain, were drowned, while the fate of the rest who got off in boats is uncertain, except 5, who were picked up by a passing steamer and brought to New York, after they had been afloat for some days, and had suffered intensely from exposure.
