CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Ms. Artie Hensley Conley, 63, of Buck Fork of Harts, went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 9, 2009, at her residence.

Born July 5, 1945, at Whirlwind of Harts, she was a daughter of the late Manasses and Brooke Mullins Hensley. Also preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 25 years, Tracey Conley; two brothers, Edward and Gary Hensley; two sisters, Wanda Hinkle and Terrie Adams; one brother-in-law, Milton Adams; one sister-in-law, Gladys Hensley; and two nephews, Otis Ray Adams and Teddy Lee Conley.

Ms. Conley was a homemaker and a member of the White Oak Church of Christ. She loved to ginseng, garden and spending time with her family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include two daughters, Angie (Doug) Adams and Kim (Clinton) Mullins, both of Smokehouse; one son, Anthony (Anna) Conley of White Oak; three grandchildren, Derrick and Hunter Mullins, and Tracey Adams, all of Smokehouse; three brothers, Harless (Joyce) Hensley and Thomas (Selena) Hensley, both of Harts, and Manasses (Freda) Hensley Jr. of Piney; seven sisters, Dorothy (Frank) Hensley of Harts, Ilean (Otis) Adams, Edith (Jerry) Conley, Linda (Paul) Adams, all of White Oak, Ina Mae Adams of Mud Fork, Tammy Hensley and Gidgette (Rethal) Collins, both of Harts, one sister-in-law, Barbara Hensley of Harts; two brothers-in-law, Paul Hinkle and Ernest Adams, both of Harts, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, at the White Oak Church of Christ with Pastor Manasses Hensley Jr. and Rev. Millard Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Family Cemetery on Buck Fork.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
