CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mrs. Ilean Hensley Adams, 69, of White Oak Fork of Chapmanville, was born September 20, 1939, at Whirlwind of Harts, a daughter of the late Manasses Sr., and Brooke Mullins Hensley. She went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Also preceding her in death was a son, Otis Ray Adams Jr.; two brothers, Edward and Gary Hensley; three sisters, Wanda Hinkle, Terrie Adams and Artie Conley; two brothers-in-law, Milton Adams and Tracey Conley; one nephew, Teddy Lee Conley, and one sister-in-law, Gladys Hensley.

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker, a member of the White Oak Church of Christ and loved to ginseng, garden and spend time with her family.

Survivors include husband of 51 years, Otis Adams; three daughters, Anita Kay Adams Workman (Lester Bryant) of Ohio, and Freda Lynn Adams and Greta (Matthew) Bryant, both of White Oak Fork; two sons, Harold (Donna Kay) Adams and Winford (Geneva) Adams, both of White Oak Fork; grandchildren, James Ray, Larry, Harold Otis, Tiffany, Luke, Kara and Gina Rose; one great-grandchild, Braeden Otis; three brothers, Harless (Joyce) Hensley and Thomas (Selena) Hensley, both of Harts, and Manasses Jr. (Freda) Hensley of Piney; six sisters, Dorothy (Frank) Hensley, Tammy Hensley and Gidget (Rethal) Collins, all of Harts, and Edith (Jerry) Conley, Linda (Paul) Adams, and Ina Mae Adams, all of White Oak Fork; one sister-in-law, Barbara Hensley of Harts; two brothers-in-law, Paul Hinkle and Earnest Adams, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at the White Oak Church of Christ with Mr. Manasses Hensley Jr., and Mr. Millard Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Family Cemetery at Buck Fork of Harts.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
