Abram Hylton, 87, died suddenly in his home near Willis, on Route3, February 10th. He was as well as usual and was about his daily work.
Funeral services were conducted at Greasy Creek Church on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Elder J. M. Dickerson and Elder Jethro Harris. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are his wife Louise Slusher Hylton and 5 children; Latha A. Hylton, Tampa, Fla. Edwin of Willis, Mrs. D. M. Akers, Christiansburg, Mrs. Elmer Rutledge, Dunlap. Kansas and Mrs. L. W. Smith of Floyd.
A large audience attended the funeral and burial.
