John N. Herrin, age 86, well known Olney carpenter for many years passed away at the family home yesterday afternoon.
He is survived by three daughters and two sons. They are Robert L. Herrin and Mrs. Viola McClain of CA, Mrs. Florence Doan, Mrs. Edith Jones and Fred Herrin, all of Olney. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Laura Kimmel of Olney. 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One grandson, James L. Jones, lost his life in World War II.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Olney Funeral Home on Thursday at 10. a. m. with Rev. Keith B. Simpson in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery beside his wife who passed away in 1941.
