Son of the late Solomon Benjamin Adams and Fannie White, he was the widower of Myrtle Faircloth Adams. Additionally, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Milton, Spencer and Max Adams. He was a farmer. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Merry Hill, NC. He was survived by his daughter, Annett Adams and her husband, Forest Rondell; son, Darrell H. Adams; sisters, Josephine Pierce, Margaret Parker amd Miram Wise; brothers, Frank Adams, Truett Adams, Jack Adams and Philip Adams; grandchildren, Benjamin Drew Rockett and his wife Alexis, and Alison Rockett. His funeral was held October 27, 2009, at Riverside Baptist Church with The Rev. Jim Reamy and The Rev. Woody Copeland officiating.
